We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter / Sandblaster to join our team in Portland, OR (97203). In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing surfaces for painting and applying finishes that meet our high-quality standards. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
• Operate sandblasting equipment to remove old paint, rust, and other contaminants.
• Mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications.
• Inspect finished work for quality and consistency, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a painter and sandblaster in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to operate sandblasting equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Industrial & Commercial Painting
