Schedule & Work Environment
Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
No routine on-call or weekend schedule
Must be flexible to respond to the changing and sometimes urgent needs of a hospital environment
Work is performed in active patient care areas alongside patients, visitors, and clinical team members
What We're Looking For:
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Four years of relevant work experience accepted in lieu of diploma
Experience
Minimum one year of hands-on experience in painting, patching, and installing wall coverings, ceiling tile, wall protection, rubber base, and floor coverings required
Healthcare experience preferred
Commercial or apartment maintenance experience preferred
Licensure/Certification
Valid driver’s license required
Additional Skills
Skilled with hand and power tools used in painting and finish work
Ability to plan work, estimate materials, and manage basic job costs
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to accurately distinguish colors
Professional and respectful while working in occupied healthcare spaces
Paint walls, trim, and fixtures throughout healthcare facilities
Patch and repair drywall, plaster, and other wall surfaces
Install wall coverings, corner guards, and wall protection materials
Lay cove base and replace floor coverings as needed
Replace and install ceiling tiles
Estimate materials and labor for assigned projects
Safely use hand and power tools appropriate to the trade
