Painting and Cleaning Assistant

About the Role:
MONEGRO CONTRACTORS INC is looking for a motivated and hardworking Painting and Cleaning Assistant to join our growing team in Kissimmee, FL! This is a great opportunity to build hands-on skills in the contracting industry while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities:

• Assist painters with surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, and priming walls and surfaces
• Apply paint, stains, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces as directed
• Perform general cleaning duties on job sites before, during, and after project completion
• Clean and maintain tools, brushes, rollers, and equipment after each use
• Remove debris, drop cloths, and materials to keep work areas safe and organized
• Support crew members with carrying supplies, setting up ladders, and staging materials
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines on all job sites

Requirements:

• Previous experience in painting, cleaning, or general labor is a plus but not required
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
• Comfortable working at heights on ladders and scaffolding
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions from supervisors
• Strong work ethic with a team-player attitude
• Valid transportation to and from job sites in the Kissimmee, FL area
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
