Paintline Technician-Paint 1St Shift

Job Description:KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Paintline Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 1st shift. $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.To learn more about KI, please visit www.ki.comJob Duties:Paintline Technicians are responsible for hanging parts/hooks on the paint line, taking hooks off as needed, applying the powder coat paint to the product, performing color changes and taping product coming off the paint line. The Paintline Technicians support the assembly cells and provide them with needed product to meet their final assembly schedules.

Hang hooks and parts on the Paint line following the identified prioritiesManually apply powder paint to production partsPerform paint color changeoversTape parts coming down from the line to prevent scratchesInspect & pack parts off the line (assemble if necessary)Keep record of bad partsJIT scan

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Value Added Skills:

Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not requiredTeam PlayerComputer knowledgeWillingness to learnAbility to train on any shiftPositive Attitude

Physical Requirements:

Working in areas where it can get warmWorking in a smoke free environmentActivities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bendingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

This is a 1st Shift positionHours are 6am-2pm Monday-FridayStarting rate of pay is $19/hourOvertime during busy season
