Description
Job Title: Palantir Architect
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Tax Term (W2, C2C): W2
Job Type (Permanent/Contract): Contract
Duration: Long Term
Pay Range: $75-$95/hr
Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Palantir Architect with strong expertise in Palantir Foundry and AIP, combined with utility domain knowledge, to drive end-to-end digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will design scalable data platforms, implement ontology-driven data models, develop AI-powered solutions, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver high-impact analytics and operational improvements. Palantir expertise is the primary requirement, while utility domain experience is considered a strong plus.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Leverage deep understanding of the utility value chain, including Meter-to-Cash (M2C), Customer Analytics, and Outage Analytics, to improve revenue assurance, customer experience, and grid reliability.
- Design and implement ontology-driven data models in Palantir Foundry, including object types, link types, and action types for downstream applications and AIP use cases.
- Develop and manage data pipelines using Foundry's data layer, including datasets, transactions, schema evolution, and incremental versus snapshot transformations.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across enterprise data platforms.
- Build and operationalize AI-powered solutions using Palantir AIP, including Logic, Agents, Assist, and Automate.
- Develop function-backed objects and actions to support enterprise AI use cases.
- Apply prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and tool/function integration to build scalable production-grade AI applications.
- Utilize Foundry applications including Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Code Workbook, Contour, Object Explorer, Workshop, Quiver, and Slate for end-to-end analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data and AI architectures.
- Drive best practices in data governance, lineage, metadata management, and dataset health monitoring.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for enterprise data and AI initiatives.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Analytics, or Digital Transformation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Experience with Palantir AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform).
- Ontology-driven data modeling.
- Data Pipeline Development and Data Integration.
- Data Governance, Lineage, and Metadata Management.
- AI/ML platform implementation and enterprise AI solutions.
- Prompt Engineering and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Foundry tools including Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Code Workbook, Contour, Object Explorer, Workshop, Quiver, and Slate.
- Strong stakeholder management and solution architecture experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise data platforms and analytics.
- Hands-on expertise with Palantir Foundry is required.
- Experience with Palantir AIP or comparable enterprise AI platforms is highly preferred.
- Utility domain experience (Meter-to-Cash, Customer Analytics, Outage Analytics, Billing, Customer Engagement, or Outage Management) is preferred but secondary to Palantir expertise.
- Experience designing scalable enterprise data and AI solutions.
