Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable and hardworking Pallet Builders to join a day-shift production team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for building, assembling, and repairing wooden pallets while maintaining established quality, productivity, and safety standards.
This is a physically demanding role requiring frequent heavy lifting, repetitive movement, and regular use of power tools. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is comfortable working on their feet throughout the shift, and can maintain a consistent pace in a fast-moving production environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous pallet building, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred but not required
Ability to safely operate nail guns, saws, and other power tools
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
Comfortable performing repetitive heavy lifting throughout the workday
Ability to follow basic measurements and production specifications
Strong attention to quality and proper construction
Ability to work efficiently as part of a production team
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Build and assemble wooden pallets according to company specifications
Repair and rebuild damaged pallets as needed
Measure and cut lumber and other materials using a tape measure
Safely operate nail guns, saws, and related power tools
Load, move, stack, and organize pallets and production materials
Inspect completed pallets for quality, accuracy, and proper construction
Maintain consistent production output and meet daily productivity goals
Identify damaged materials or quality concerns and report issues as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
Properly use required personal protective equipment
Work with team members to maintain efficient production flow
Perform additional general labor and production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous pallet building or repair experience
Construction or woodworking experience
Manufacturing or production experience
Warehouse or general labor background
Experience using nail guns, saws, and other power tools
Experience performing repetitive production work
Physical Requirements
Frequent heavy lifting and material handling throughout the shift
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
Ability to safely operate power tools while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a physically demanding production environment
