Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable and hardworking Pallet Builders to join a fast-paced production team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for building, assembling, and repairing wooden pallets using nail guns, power tools, and measuring equipment.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with physically demanding work, has experience using basic power tools, and can maintain quality and productivity throughout the shift.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
Experience with nail guns and power tools preferred
Ability to repeatedly lift and move heavy materials throughout the workday
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow instructions and production requirements
Strong safety awareness and work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Build and assemble wooden pallets according to production specifications
Repair damaged pallets and replace broken or defective components
Safely operate nail guns and other power tools
Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure
Inspect completed pallets for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy
Move lumber, pallets, and other materials throughout the production area
Maintain production pace while meeting quality standards
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
Perform additional production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous pallet building, woodworking, construction, or manufacturing experience
Experience operating pneumatic nail guns and power tools
Familiarity with repetitive production or assembly work
Basic mechanical aptitude and experience working with lumber
Physical Requirements
Frequent heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive physical movement
Ability to safely operate power tools while wearing required PPE
Comfortable performing physically demanding work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
