Requirements for the Pallet Repair Associate
We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy hands-on work and can thrive in a physically demanding environment.
Qualified candidates should have:
High school diploma or GED
Previous construction, warehouse, landscaping, roofing, carpentry, pallet repair, or other physically demanding work experience
Ability to regularly lift and handle wooden pallets weighing approximately 50 pounds
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
Willingness to work overtime when needed
Pallet Repair Associate Responsibilities
As a Pallet Repair Associate, you will build and repair wooden pallets using new and recycled lumber in a fast-paced production environment.
Job duties include:
Build and repair wooden pallets according to company specifications
Receive lumber from the saw shop and assemble pallets using nail guns
Operate manual and electric saws, hammers, wire brushes, and pneumatic tools
Lift, move, and stack completed pallets for forklift operators
Inspect finished pallets to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain productivity goals in a fast-paced work environment
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
