Description for Pallet Repair Technician:
Inspect damaged wooden pallets and efficiently identify structural component defects.
Rebuild and restore pallets to exact grade specifications using pneumatic nail guns and power saws.
Meet or exceed daily high-volume facility production quotas (254 pallets per day baseline).
Sort, grade, stack, and stage finished structural components across active warehouse zones.
Perform routine safety checks on assigned pneumatic tools and follow strict plant safety rules.
Details for Pallet Repair Technician:
Pay Rate: $20/hour during initial training | Transitions to $0.54 per pallet (Uncapped Piece Rate) once output goals are met.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Finish times vary based on personal productivity).
Location: Algona, WA.
Requirements for Pallet Repair Technician:
Prior verifiable experience working as a Pallet Repair Technician, Pallet Builder, or in industrial wood assembly required.
Proven speed and proficiency utilizing pneumatic nail guns, tear-down bars, and commercial saws.
Physical capability to handle heavy manual labor, including consistently lifting 50–75+ lbs all shift.
Goal-driven work ethic with the capability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or GED required; ability to wear standard required PPE daily.
