Job Description
In this position, you will play a key role in the pallet sorting and recycling process by inspecting, sorting, and grading wooden pallets while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work and take pride in producing quality results in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and grade wooden pallets according to company standards.
- Separate damaged pallets from reusable inventory.
- Identify pallet grades and organize pallets accordingly.
- Remove trash, debris, and other unwanted materials from pallet loads.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following 5S standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move wooden pallets throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
