Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Palletizer Operator – Press to join our Hanover, NH production team on Crew 1 Days. In this role, you will support the pressroom by operating and monitoring palletizing equipment, ensuring printed materials are properly stacked, packaged, labeled, and prepared for the next stage of production or shipment.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and committed to producing high-quality work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated and/or semi-automated palletizing equipment associated with press operations.
• Stack and palletize printed products according to established specifications and production requirements.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and proper packaging.
• Verify job information, quantities, labels, and pallet configurations.
• Make routine adjustments to equipment to maintain safe and efficient operation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Safely move and position materials, pallets, and finished product using appropriate equipment.
• Assist press operators and other production team members as needed to maintain workflow.
• Monitor production for issues and promptly communicate equipment, quality, or material concerns to the appropriate team member or supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
• Accurately complete required production documentation and records.
• Perform basic equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Meet established production, quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Work collaboratively with coworkers and other departments to meet production requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• Ability to work the scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shift.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures.

Preferred

• Previous experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, warehousing, or production.
• Experience operating palletizers, conveyors, presses, or other production machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Experience working in a team-based production environment.

Physical & Work Environment

This position is performed in a manufacturing/pressroom environment. The employee may be required to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and finished products.
• Work around moving machinery and production equipment.
• Follow required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures.
• Work in an environment where noise, paper dust, machinery, and varying temperatures may be present.
