Role Overview

We are seeking a Palo Alto XSIAM Subject Matter Expert to support Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, enhance security playbooks and detection engineering capabilities, and improve investigation and analyst efficiency. The role will also contribute to Palo Alto Networks alliance initiatives focused on SOC solutions, including Cortex Cloud and XSIAM, and support client engagement through technical accelerators and thought leadership materials.

Required Skills

• Experience supporting SOC operations, including 24x7 Managed Security Services (MSS) and Incident Response (IR)
• Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks XSIAM
• Experience enhancing security playbooks
• Experience with detection engineering
• Experience developing SOC dashboards and reporting
• Ability to accelerate security investigations and improve analyst efficiency
• Experience with XSOAR and XSIAM playbooks and runbooks
• Ability to develop technical accelerators for customer environments
• Strong understanding of next generation SOC concepts and capabilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Palo Alto Networks alliance initiatives
• Experience with Cortex Cloud
• Experience supporting SOC campaigns and client engagement
• Experience developing technical POVs and presentation materials
• Experience creating accelerators that improve deployment velocity in customer environments

Key Responsibilities

• Support 24x7 SOC operations, including Managed Security Services and Incident Response
• Enhance SOC playbooks and runbooks to improve operational efficiency
• Support detection engineering initiatives
• Develop and enhance SOC dashboards and reporting
• Help accelerate security investigations and improve analyst efficiency
• Develop technical deliverables aligned with SOC operations and security objectives
• Create XSOAR and XSIAM accelerators, including playbooks and runbooks
• Develop accelerators designed to increase deployment velocity in customer environments
• Support Palo Alto Networks alliance initiatives focused on SOC capabilities
• Contribute to Cortex Cloud and XSIAM initiatives
• Support client engagement and alliance campaign activities
• Develop slideware articulating XSOAR and XSIAM accelerators
• Contribute technical content to Deloitte's overall point of view on the next generation SOC
• Collaborate with security and alliance teams throughout the engagement

Education Requirement

• Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
