Panel Superintendent- El Paso, TX

The Panel Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities and field personnel.
• Direct and manage crews, subcontractors, and other project resources.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and project schedules to ensure work is performed correctly.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, manpower, and site logistics.
• Monitor production, quality, and progress to maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure workmanship meets company and project standards.
• Enforce company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and site-specific safety procedures.
• Communicate daily with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, production records, and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, manpower, materials, and potential issues.
• Ensure the work area remains organized, safe, and productive.
• Train, mentor, and provide direction to field personnel as needed.
• Support project closeout, punch-list completion, and final inspections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, with progressive supervisory or superintendent experience preferred.
• Previous experience supervising crews and subcontractors on active construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, plans, specifications, and quality-control practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and general construction safety requirements.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including email, Microsoft Office, and construction-management software.
• Ability to work effectively with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel.
• High school diploma or GED required; construction management, engineering, or related education is a plus.
• OSHA 30 or other relevant safety certification is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Experience with scheduling, manpower planning, material coordination, and project documentation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
