OPUS 9 STEAKHOUSE IS HIRING — SKILLED PANTRY COOK

BUSY KITCHEN • QUALITY FOOD • WE NEED SOMEONE WE CAN COUNT ON

KNOW YOUR STATION. OWN YOUR PREP. KEEP IT MOVING. KEEP IT CLEAN.

Do you take pride in having your station ready before the rush even starts?

Opus 9 Steakhouse is looking for an experienced, dependable Pantry Cook who knows how to prep, stay organized, move with purpose, and consistently put out beautiful food when the tickets start flying.

We’re busy — and we like it that way. Our pantry station plays an important role in keeping service moving, and we need someone who enjoys staying busy and can be trusted to handle their responsibilities without constant direction.

At Opus 9, we serve premium steaks, fresh seafood, handcrafted appetizers, and an elevated dining experience. We’re looking for a kitchen professional who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team that takes food and service seriously.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Take ownership of the pantry station from prep through closing
• Prepare salads, cold appetizers, desserts, sauces, dressings, and other pantry items
• Keep your station prepped, stocked, clean, and ready for service
• Execute every plate with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation
• Stay ahead of prep and anticipate what the station will need
• Work efficiently through busy, high-volume services
• Maintain proper portions, food rotation, labeling, and storage
• Keep your station clean and organized throughout the shift
• Communicate clearly with chefs and fellow kitchen team members
• Follow recipes, plating standards, and food-safety procedures
• Step in and support the kitchen wherever needed

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has previous pantry, prep, or line-cook experience, but we will train the right person with the right attitude
• Is comfortable working in a busy, high-volume kitchen
• Likes to stay busy and takes pride in getting the job done
• Understands the importance of preparation, timing, and organization
• Works quickly without sacrificing quality or presentation
• Has strong attention to detail and follows established standards
• Is reliable, punctual, and takes their schedule seriously
• Shows up prepared and ready to contribute
• Takes initiative and stays productive without constant supervision
• Communicates well and works professionally with the entire team
• Can remain focused and composed when service gets intense
• Is available for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
