Opus 9 Steakhouse is looking for a reliable and motivated Pantry Cook to join our culinary team!

Known for exceptional steaks, fresh seafood, handcrafted appetizers, and an elevated dining experience, Opus 9 takes pride in delivering quality from the first plate to the last. Our pantry station is an important part of that experience, and we’re looking for someone who understands that consistency, presentation, cleanliness, and timing matter.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare salads, cold appetizers, desserts, dressings, sauces, and other pantry items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Set up, stock, and maintain your station before and throughout service
• Prepare every dish with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation
• Complete daily prep and ensure ingredients are fresh, properly portioned, and ready for service
• Maintain proper food rotation, labeling, storage, and organization
• Work efficiently during busy services while keeping quality and accuracy a priority
• Keep your station and surrounding kitchen areas clean, organized, and sanitary
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen team members
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements
• Assist other kitchen stations and team members when needed to keep service running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Previous pantry, prep cook, or line cook experience preferred
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Pride in food quality, presentation, and cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and standards
• Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Ability to remain focused and composed during busy services
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
