Job description:


Seeking dynamic talented candidates to join our fast growing DME team!


We have an immediate opening for a full-time PAP Technician. 


Candidate must have prior experience, especially in CPAP/BiPAP set-up, compliance and re-supply procedures, be able to navigate between multiple programs, multi-task on the computer, answer phones and occasional travel required.


Responsibilities:


  • Set up patients on CPAP/BIPAP,  educate  on proper usage,  cleaning, and the benefits of using the device. 
  • Setting up the device based on doctors’ orders prior to setup.
  • Daily communication with physician offices, hospital case managers, office administrative staff, respiratory therapists and company marketing representatives. 
  • Calling and scheduling patients for setup of Durable Medical Equipment (DME), including PAP and supplies
  • Inform patient of Insurance compliance requirements. 
  • Fit patients with appropriate mask, ensuring comfort and maximum therapeutic effectiveness
  • Trouble shooting  the machine, mask  issues such as mask discomfort/leaks.  
  • Monitor compliance.
Requirements:


  • Customer service experience in an office/administrative environment
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Experience in DME/home health intake, preferred
  • CNA, MA OR LPN certification. 
  • Experience in setting up CPAP and BiPAP, required
  • Experience with computers
  • Friendly/outgoing personality and a passion for helping people
  • Preference given to bilingual "English/Spanish"
