Job Summary

The person in this position works under general supervision, to perform a variety of instructional and routine clerical duties designed to free the instructor from routine work related to the program and to provide specialized instruction. Primary responsibilities of the position are to: • Work with individuals, small groups or entire classes in presenting routine instructional materials. • Understand and apply classroom management techniques in a manner consistent with teacher instruction. • Supervise activities of children in the classroom, on field trips, on the playground, in the cafeteria, while bus boarding and during fire and earthquake drills. • Ability to interpret Spanish orally and written in some positions is required. • Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. - Paraeducator focused on provide support for HISTORY Curriculum for Middle School students.
