Job Summary
Under direct supervision, perform a wide variety of services associated with the special education instructional program in the classroom and other locations in the school. Employees in this assignment spend a major portion of their time working with pupils in small groups or as tutors on a one-to-one basis. The remainder of the time is spent in preparing instructional materials, and in performing other tasks as assigned.

Must meet the following requirements in order to comply with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Proof MUST be attached to your application. Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent AND any one of the following: Completion of 2 years of college at an Accredited Institution of Higher Education (48 units) Possession of an Associate''s Degree or higher degree Passage of of the CBEST Passage of a BUSD approved Paraprofessional Exam
Previous experience is desirable in working with special education children, as a teacher, with recognized youth groups, or as a volunteer at a school. You MUST attach transcripts, degree or tests scores to meet the above requirements. To take the paraprofessional test, please email salazar@bonita.k12.ca.us to schedule a test appointment.
