PARALEGALFox Communities Credit Union Appleton, Wisconsin, United StatesAbout this positionWe currently have a career opportunity for a full-time (40 hrs./wk.) Paralegal based out of our corporate office (Enterprise) in Appleton!The Paralegal works under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel / Risk Officer to provide legal support for various departments. This role is transactional in nature and assists in vendor management, collecting and analyzing vendor due diligence, and the preparation and review of corporate contracts and research projects, as assigned.The primary responsibilities of the Paralegal role include but are not limited to:Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and ValuesAnalyzing and negotiating vendor contracts and agreementsResearching and ensuring compliance with both state and federal regulationsProviding advice under the guidance of Chief Legal OfficerAssisting Deputy General Counsel / Risk Officer, Chief Legal Officer, Audit, Compliance, and BSA in supporting various matters, as neededCandidates for the Paralegal position should possess:2-5 years of legal or similar experiencePrevious financial institution experience is a plusParalegal degree or equivalent, or working towards a Paralegal degree is a plusNotary certification, or willingness to become a NotaryAbility to work off templates, including editing informationAbility to work independently and effectivelyAttention to detail and organization; process-orientedExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects across several departmentsAbility to address problems and make continuous process improvementsWillingness to work on a broad variety of legal and corporate mattersCommitment to professionalism and personal growth, with the ability to scale and grow with the organizationFox Communities Credit Union is an over $3 billion in assets community-based credit union serving more than 130,000 members at over 20 locations.
