General duties include document drafting, research, client interaction, monitoring hearing schedules and management of case files.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDraft routine pleadings, affidavits, orders, and other legal documentation.Proofread and edits legal documents and other written materials to ensure accuracy and completeness.Maintain legal calendaring system to ensure timely compliance with various legal deadlines.Analyze and coordinate the gathering of information, materials, documents, reports, and evidence which is necessary to respond to discovery.Utilize technical information to make independent decisions and recommendations to the supervising attorney.Correspond with various court personnel, local counsel, and adversary attorneys.Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or attorney(s)Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBasic understanding of litigation legal process0-3 years paralegal experienceMinimum of a 2-year college degree and/or Paralegal Certification preferredIntermediate to advance skill level in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Outlook, and ExcelProven ability to work within a TeamGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong ability to analyze and problem solveSelf-Driven and motivatedProven ability to multi-task, prioritize work and is efficient with time management#J-18808-Ljbffr
