Founded in 2000, the firm offers the legal expertise of its 120+ attorneys, supported by a dedicated administrative staff whose professionalism and efficiency are key to our success.We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm seeking to expand our talented administrative team by adding a Paralegal Billing professional to assist our Matrimonial Department.Successful CandidateThe ideal candidate is someone who can handle working in a fast-paced, high-intensity legal environment and collaborating closely with attorneys, clients, and colleagues. The candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication, billing, and multitasking skills.Responsibilities include:Billing & Invoicing: Entering attorney time records, editing, approving, and emailing final client invoices.Financial Tracking: Preparing and sending engagement letters, tracking retainers, maintaining billing records, and handling accounts receivable collections and payment tracking.Client Intake: Conducting client intakes, including gathering initial information from clients, opening up new matters, and coordinating with attorneys and colleagues.Case & Workflow Management: Maintaining case files, calendars, and departmental workflow to ensure strict deadlines are met.Professional Communication: Communicating professionally with clients, court staff, and internal departments.Administrative Support: Providing general administrative and paralegal support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and organizing case documentation.What you will need to have:Experience: 3–5 years of prior experience in a paralegal, legal administrative, billing, or client services role (matrimonial or family law experience is highly preferred).Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong familiarity with legal billing systems or case management software.Core Competencies: Strong organizational and time management skills with sharp attention to detail.Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Attitude: A professional, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to assist wherever needed.Salary Range: $55,000 to $75,000 (commensurate with experience)Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401(k), PTO, and Life InsuranceThis position is based out of White Plains, NY and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded Matrimonial Department within a respected full-service law firm.#J-18808-Ljbffr
