Paralegal / Legal Assistant
BOS Staffing has partnered with a well-established law firm in Cartersville, GA 30120 seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join their team in an on-site, temp-to-perm capacity.
Location: Cartersville, Georgia 30120 Position Type: Temp-to-Perm Compensation: $30+ per hour, depending on experience Schedule: On-Site | Monday–Friday | 37.5 hours per week Hiring ASAP
Schedule & Benefits
- Monday through Friday, on-site
- 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Once permanent, paid holidays include:
- Christmas
- Thanksgiving
- Labor Day
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- One week of paid vacation after one year of employment
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys
- Manage and maintain case files and documentation
- Utilize case management software to organize and track matters
- Draft, review, and prepare legal correspondence and documents
- Coordinate scheduling, deadlines, and client communication
- Assist with improving internal processes and software utilization
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant required
- Familiarity with legal case management software (Amicus experience is a plus, but not required)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong administrative capabilities
- Comfortable working in a traditional, in-office law firm environment
