We're seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our Legal Department through high-quality legal document preparation, research, contract support, regulatory analysis, and matter management.
As a valued member of the legal team, you'll play a critical role in supporting attorneys, internal leaders, and departments across the organization by helping ensure legal documents, processes, records, and workflows are handled with accuracy, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
About This Opportunity
This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic legal environment supporting a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, corporate documents, regulatory research, investigations, litigation support, due diligence, document production, and internal legal operations.
In this role, you will serve as an important resource within the Legal Department, helping manage legal documents, track projects, support attorney effectiveness, and provide guidance on standard contracting provisions, legal processes, and department workflows.

Works collaboratively with internal and external customers in a high paced/high volume Legal Department under the direction and supervision of Advocate Health attorneys to provide more complex legal assistance and support system-entities. Performs a wide variety of duties to ensure each Advocate Health entity is operating consistent with the mission, purpose and values of Advocate Health. Provides legal support to assist system-entities and ensures quality work product in compliance with legal requirements, best practices and internal policies and procedures. Performs work with a high degree of latitude. Researches applicable laws and regulations pertaining to federal and state regulatory requirements for health care providers, including but not limited to regulations and guidance established by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Office of Inspector General (OIG), the Office of Civil Rights (OCR), applicable state laws and regulations as well as accreditation requirements.
