however, all other FCS Financial Branch locations will be considered based on the candidate's qualifications and needs.Hybrid (in office/remote) work options will be considered for the right candidate based on qualifications and location.This position is open until filled.This position is located in Jefferson City, Missouri.This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.Department :LegalReports To : Associate General CounselJob Functions*45%Support Operations – Legal, Loan Services, Title Services, Marketplace:Participates in the review, preparation and coordination of closing documents and assists in resolving any title issues that ariseConducts research related to real estate transactions, including with respect to ownership, land use, access, legal descriptions, liens, title exceptions and related mattersFollows up to clarify issues, inconsistencies and missing information relating to customers and loansFields questions from staff regarding title work and legal documentsEnsures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to real estate transactions and Association policies45%Document Review and Preparation:Reviews real estate transactional documents, such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, deeds and closing documentsReviews various real estate title documents, including title insurance commitments, title exception documents, appraisals and other documents for accuracy and adherence to applicable regulations and Association policies and proceduresReviews and/or prepares various documents including deeds of trust, subordination agreements, deeds, affidavits, releases and other closing documents under the supervision of counsel.Conducts due diligence relating to business entities (review of formation and governing documents, verification of good standing, review/preparation of resolution/authorization forms)Assists in the preparation and updating of templatesFacilitates loan documentation requests to internal and external legal counsel;
