Paralegal – Civil Defense Litigation Columbia, South Carolina | Full-Time, Monday–Friday | In Office (With Work From Home Policy) Salary Range: $50,000–$75,000

Collins & Lacy, P.C. is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our group in Columbia, South Carolina. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys working closely with attorneys on complex civil defense matters.

Position Overview

The Paralegal will play a key role in managing civil litigation cases from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with litigation technology and court filing systems.

 

Requirements

  • Experience with civil litigation cases
  • Proficiency with CM/ECF filing (Federal and State)
  • Experience with billing and ABA task codes
  • Ability to work closely with our attorneys
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience with a litigation document management system
  • Communication and writing skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with civil defense matters and mediations
  • Experience using ProLaw
  • Experience working with insurance companies and clients
