Job Title: Paralegal Contracts AdministratorMinistry/Department: FinanceReports to: Executive Director of Finance & Risk ManagementStatus: Full-time, exemptSupervisory Role: NoObjectiveThe Paralegal Contracts Administrator supports The Church of Eleven22® and its affiliated ministries by providing administrative, governance and operational support related to contracts, compliance, risk management, and records administration.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full contract lifecycle: drafting, reviewing, and administering agreements such as NDAs, leases, vendor and consulting agreements, construction and service contracts, and licensing and facility agreements; ensure proper execution, version control, and signature tracking in coordination with Legal and Finance.Maintain a tracking system for key dates and obligations—deadlines, renewals, expirations, deliverables, insurance requirements, compliance milestones— and monitor adherence to all contractual commitments.Coordinate contract review and reporting by partnering with church leadership, Finance, and legal counsel; prepare regular updates on contract status, risks, and upcoming obligations.Implement and maintain centralized contract and records management: executed agreements, amendments, insurance certificates, and supporting documentation; ensure records are organized, searchable, accessible, and audit‑ready.Establish and maintain document standards—naming conventions, templates, standard agreement language, record‑retention practices—in collaboration with the Executive Director of Finance and Risk Management.Support governance and compliance activities: keep documentation in alignment with bylaws, nonprofit requirements, and employment compliance.Support documentation and coordination related to property transactions, including communication with outside counsel as needed.Perform other duties as assigned in support of church and affiliated operations.CompetenciesModel The Church of Eleven22's mission, vision, and core values.Strong understanding of contract structure, terminology, and administration practices.Experience organizing and maintaining document or contract databases.Proficiency with document management software, spreadsheets, and database systems.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Adaptability to change and shift priorities.Strong proactive communication skill set and organizational skills.Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Contract and document control with accurate versioning and filing.Project coordination and follow‑through across multiple projects.Ability to identify potential risks and escalate issues appropriately.Knowledge of nonprofit governance structures, compliance frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements.Education and ExperienceAssociate or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, business administration, or a related field preferred.Three to seven years of paralegal, contract administration, contract management, legal operations, or compliance‑related experience.Experience in nonprofit or church environments preferred.Experience implementing or managing document management or contract lifecycle management systems preferred.Position Type & HoursFull‑time, exempt. Work hours: 40 hours or more per week. Typical schedule: Monday through Friday (hours may vary based on church needs, including possible weekend work). Staff may be required to attend major events (“All‑Skates”) throughout the year.Work Environment / Physical DemandsThe role operates in a professional office setting, primarily involving sedentary work—extended screen time, phone usage, and routine use of standard office equipment.
