Our client is a well-established California plaintiff-side employment law firm recognized for its work in complex wage and hour class actions. They are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their collaborative legal team. Support attorneys through all phases of complex employment litigation and class action matters.
Prepare, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
Prepare Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Contents (TOC) for court filings.
File legal documents electronically in California state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with all court rules and deadlines.
Manage litigation calendars, court deadlines, and case files.
Coordinate and organize large document productions and discovery.
Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
Assist with deposition preparation, exhibit organization, and trial preparation, including trial binders.
Maintain accurate case management records and communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
Prioritize multiple deadlines while managing a high-volume caseload.
Minimum of 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in California.
Required experience in plaintiff-side employment law, including wage and hour and class action litigation.
Demonstrated experience preparing Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Contents (TOC).
Extensive experience with California state and federal court e-filing.
Strong understanding of California Rules of Court and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Experience handling high-volume litigation matters with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and litigation document management software.
ABA Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience is preferred.
California Labor Code and Wage & Hour litigation
Class Actions and PAGA matters
Large-scale discovery and document management
Trial preparation and courtroom support
Case management systems such as Relativity, Everlaw, NetDocuments, iManage, or similar platforms
