We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a busy and collaborative litigation team supporting complex legal matters. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who has experience managing litigation cases from inception through resolution and enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with litigation matters from case intake through trial or settlement
Conduct client intake interviews and communicate effectively
Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
File legal documents with courts and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines
Manage and maintain organized case files, including pleadings, depositions, exhibits, and trial materials
Coordinate and assist with discovery, including document review and production
Support trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, trial binders, and evidence presentations
Review and summarize medical records and other supporting documentation
Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and external vendors
Utilize legal technology and document management systems to support casework
Track deadlines, statutes of limitations, and maintain accurate case records
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate preferred
Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation
Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes
Experience supporting discovery and document management processes
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and case management systems
Ability to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys
Strong professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
