Title: Paralegal
Location: SW Houston, located near 59S/Gessner
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Length: Indefinite temporary opportunity
Salary: $66,599–$71,584 DOE
Pre-Employment Details: If selected for the role, you will be required to complete a 10-panel drug screen and TB x-ray prior to starting 
Summary: We're seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a collaborative in-house legal team supporting a large public healthcare organization. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on a wide range of contracts, legal research, and regulatory matters that directly support critical community services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, amendments, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate contract workflows, maintain contract management systems, and track key deadlines.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare summaries, memoranda, and briefing materials.
  • Support procurement, compliance, and litigation activities while maintaining accurate legal records.
  • Partner with internal departments and leadership to ensure efficient contract administration.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certification from an ABA-approved program required.
  • 5+ years of paralegal, legal operations, or contract administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and legal documentation, with excellent research and writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management software.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with healthcare organizations, government or quasi-government entities, public procurement, grant-funded programs, or contract management systems is highly valued.
