Paralegal - ImmigrationThis role is with a full-service, national law firm with over 450 attorneys across 18 offices and specializes across corporate, transactional, and litigation work. This role can be based in Chicago or Miami.Job DescriptionPrepare and organize immigration case filings, including visa applications and petitions.Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations.Collaborate with attorneys to draft legal documents and correspondence.Maintain accurate case records and track deadlines for filing and document submissions.Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide case updates.Assist with case strategy planning and provide administrative support for hearings or interviews.Ensure confidentiality and security of all legal documentation and client information.Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy to provide informed support.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
