Our team is committed to delivering efficient, high-quality legal services while maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant with a background in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense and/or subrogation. This role is essential in supporting attorneys through all stages of litigation—from case intake through trial—while ensuring deadlines are met and files are maintained with precision.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, format, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documentsHandle high-volume case management for insurance defense and subrogation filesE-file in state and federal courts and track filing deadlinesMaintain and organize electronic and physical case filesAssist with discovery, including drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and responsesCoordinate depositions, inspections, mediations, and hearingsPrepare trial materials, exhibits, and bindersCommunicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, experts, and opposing counselReview medical records, bills, and claim-related documentsAssist with subrogation recovery tracking and lien documentationQualifications2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in civil litigationPrior experience in insurance defense and/or subrogation strongly preferredFamiliarity with litigation procedures, deadlines, and court rulesExperience with e-filing in state and federal courtsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience working with insurance carriers and adjustersKnowledge of medical terminology and billing recordsFamiliarity with case management and billing software (e.g., Clio, Time Matters, or similar)Trial preparation experienceParalegal certificate is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
