The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial litigation procedures, state and federal discovery rules, foreclosure processes, and real estate law. This role involves managing case files, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and coordinating with clients, courts, and other stakeholders.What You'll DoAssist in the formatting/drafting/filing/serving of pleadings and legal documentsDocket and monitor calendar(s) with Case Management, Trial, foreclosure deadlines and other critical deadlinesFile legal documents with the State and Federal Electronic Court Filing SystemsPrepare, organize, and manage discovery and responsive documentsPrepare deposition summariesAssist with case investigationsCreate/maintain electronic directoriesCreate/maintain filingPrepare and send out transmittal lettersSave, print, scan, and file all transmittal documents on each fileDelivery Requests when necessaryWhat We're Looking ForAssociate's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred3+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in Commercial LitigationProficiency in Office365, Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionCompensationSalary range: $30-$38/hour.
