OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our clients team. This role will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-claim investigation through trial and appeal. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of litigation procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct pre-claim investigations, legal research, and initial case assessmentsDraft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the courtMaintain case calendars, track deadlines, and organize case filesManage pleadings and discovery indexesPrepare and organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices for hearings and trialsAssist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requestsGather and analyze relevant information from various sourcesCoordinate with trial teams, clients, and external third partiesProvide support in settlement negotiations and case resolutionQualificationsProven experience as a Litigation ParalegalStrong knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and proceduresHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detailProficient in computer applications, case management software, and legal databasesAssociate degree in Paralegal Studies or relevant certification requiredDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
