Trusts & Estates Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an Am Law-ranked firm to identify an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal for its Naples office. This opportunity offers complex, high-level work in a collaborative, small-office setting backed by the resources of a large, nationally recognized firm.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support estate and trust administration from intake through final distribution

  • Compile asset information, valuations, and detailed inventory schedules

  • Assist with preparation of fiduciary income tax returns and federal transfer tax filings, including Forms 706 and 709

  • Draft and file probate and trust administration documents using Florida e-filing systems

  • Track deadlines and proactively manage timelines across multiple matters

  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and advisors

  • Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and compliance

  • Maintain organized records using estate and tax software systems

  • Ensure accurate time entry and strict confidentiality standards

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of trusts and estates administration and probate experience in a US law firm

  • Recent exposure to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client matters required

  • Working knowledge of estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax filings (Forms 706 & 709)

  • Advanced proficiency with Florida probate procedures and e-portal systems

  • Demonstrated experience billing time for substantive paralegal work

  • ABA-approved paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking

  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills

Practice Exposure

  • Advanced estate and wealth transfer strategies

  • Multigenerational and legacy planning

  • Irrevocable trusts, including grantor and non-grantor structures

  • GRATs, dynasty trusts, and family LLCs

  • Business succession planning

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $65,000 to $100,000

  • Bonus eligible

  • 1,500 billable hour requirement
