Location: Newport Beach, California – This is a full-time, on-site position in a collaborative office supporting attorneys across multiple California offices.

Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm. Experience managing litigation matters from inception through trial preparation is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation from case inception through resolution.
• Assist attorneys in both the Sacramento and Bay Area offices while working from the Sacramento office.
• Draft, review, and organize pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and legal correspondence.
• Manage document production, discovery responses, and case files.
• Conduct legal and factual research.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, expert witnesses, and trial logistics.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness files, and other trial materials.
• File documents electronically in state and federal courts.
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor case deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures.
• Experience with discovery, trial preparation, and document management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active matters while meeting deadlines.
