Sigma, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to work onsite with our client, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts – Department of Public Utilities (DPU), located at 1 South Station in Boston, MA.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional looking to support a government agency in a fast-paced regulatory environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with data organization and records management activities
- Conduct records review and maintain accurate legal documentation
- Provide administrative and legal support to the Transportation Network Company Division
- Schedule hearings and coordinate communication with drivers, interpreters, and department staff
- Maintain confidential legal and regulatory information
- Support case tracking, file management, and hearing preparation
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Perform additional legal support and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior experience working as a Paralegal required
- Paralegal certification is not required
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Experience reviewing legal records and maintaining files
- Ability to coordinate schedules and manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management systems preferred
- Ability to work independently in a professional office environment
