This position offers the opportunity to support a sophisticated legal practice focused on commercial and consumer bankruptcy, collections, foreclosure, and creditors' rights matters while working alongside a collaborative team of attorneys and legal professionals.ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys handling commercial and consumer bankruptcy matters from inception through resolutionAssist with collections, foreclosure, and other creditors' rights proceedingsPrepare, draft, file, and serve legal documents in state and federal courtsManage case deadlines, litigation calendars, and critical filing requirementsMonitor court dockets and electronic filing systems to ensure timely submissions and follow-up actionsCommunicate with courts, clerks, sheriff's departments, clients, opposing parties, and other stakeholdersMaintain accurate electronic and physical case files and ensure proper documentationCoordinate case activity, track progress, and proactively identify upcoming deadlines or required actionsProvide attorneys with organized, efficient, and reliable case support while maintaining a high level of client serviceQualifications2+ years of experience supporting creditors' rights matters, including bankruptcy, collections, and/or foreclosureKnowledge of state and federal court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation processesExperience with electronic filing systems, docket management, and deadline trackingStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and team membersAssociate degree in Paralegal Technology preferred; equivalent legal experience will be consideredNorth Carolina Notary Public designation preferred or willingness to obtain certificationSalary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.If you are an experienced Creditors' Rights Paralegal seeking an opportunity to make an impact within a respected legal practice, we invite you to apply today!Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledThe California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance OrdinanceLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers#J-18808-Ljbffr
