All Taft employees operate under a “Client First” philosophy—in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCoordination and review of title and survey and managing proforma and policy termsEntity formation and maintenanceDrafting authorizing resolutionsDue diligence managementAbstracting contractsPreparing checklist of critical dates and contract termsDrafting contract amendments and ancillary documentsDrafting acquisition/sale documents and closing statementPreparing officer's certificatesOrganizing local counsel opinions and other supportCoordinating all aspects of the transaction closingClosing binder preparationRequirementsBachelor's degree requiredParalegal certificate preferredMinimum of 5+ years of commercial real estate and corporate experience, preferably in a law firm environmentStrong work ethicSound judgment, decision‑making and reasoning abilitiesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environmentProficiency in MS Word and ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTaft offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, long‑term disability, flexible spending, 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, bonus, and more.
