Paralegal – Restructuring and Bankruptcy

In this crucial support role, you'll partner with attorneys through every stage of complex bankruptcy and restructuring cases. Your main tasks include drafting and filing legal documents such as motions, affidavits, and notices, while also managing case files and monitoring critical court timelines using advanced legal systems. Engage in claims management and assist with the creation of foundational court materials including first-day motions and reorganization plans. Act as a liaison among the firm’s attorneys, clients, creditors, and financial professionals to ensure fluid communication and coordination. Conduct in-depth legal research on various topics like secured transactions and solvent asset management, and participate actively in due diligence processes involving corporate restructuring and insolvency. You'll also handle e-discovery tasks, coordinate discovery responses, and prepare case materials for trial. This dynamic position requires intimate familiarity with firm protocols and the ability to navigate complex Big Law environments.
