D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Paralegal for their Corporate Legal Department. The right candidate will support in-house counsel and handle certain issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Research background of claims

• Gather information needed to defend/pursue litigation

• Respond to subpoenas and garnishments

• Coordinate information collection between outside counsel and business units

• Respond to insurance carrier requests

• Assist in documenting and updating computer and paper files for pending claims and lawsuits

• Assist with review of billing for defense of claims

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Paralegal certificate.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000
