2+ Month Contract: $20-$25 per hour

Conduct in-depth research and analysis to verify corporate legal names and identify discrepancies across legal and regulatory documents. This role requires a foundational understanding of corporate law, particularly in areas related to business formation, mergers, and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and validate the legal names of corporate entities using official registries and legal databases.
• Identify and analyze discrepancies in corporate identity, structure, and documentation.
• Review and interpret corporate filings, merger agreements, and organizational documents.
• Support due diligence efforts in mergers and acquisitions by verifying legal status and ownership structures.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in corporate records.

• Basic knowledge of corporate law, including entity formation, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with legal databases and corporate registries (e.g., Secretary of State websites, EDGAR).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
