The Office of Professional Advancement is seeking qualified part-time Program Educators for the Paralegal Studies Certificate Program. We are looking for experienced legal professionals who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and preparing students for success in the legal field.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with a state bar association; Florida Bar membership preferred
A minimum of 10 years of professional legal and/or teaching experience
Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of legal practice, such as:
Civil litigation
Legal research and writing
Contract law
Family law
Real estate law
Criminal law
Probate and estate planning
Immigration law
Business law
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

These are part-time staff positions. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis based on instructional needs, and the applicant pool will remain open throughout the academic year.
Please note that appointments and course assignments are contingent upon student enrollment, program needs, and available funding. Final confirmation of teaching assignments may not occur until classes begin. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
