We are seeking a detail‑oriented, outgoing, and highly motivated Legal Assistant / Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of recent legal experience, preferably in Estate Planning, Probate, or Corporate matters. A demonstrated commitment to the legal field, strong problem‑solving abilities, and a desire to be part of a collaborative team are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.Responsibilities Manage calendars, deadlines, and provide administrative and legal support to attorneys.Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence with strong attention to detail.Assist with Estate Planning, Probate, and Corporate matter workflow and organization.Communicate with clients regarding case status, scheduling, document collection, and follow‑up items.Coordinate document signings and assist with client meetings.Maintain electronic client files in accordance with firm standards.Assist in keeping cases and projects moving forward by identifying issues, following up proactively, and helping implement solutions.Support attorneys and staff as part of a collaborative legal team environment.Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Legal Assistant and/or Paralegal, with Estate Planning experience preferred.Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and general legal software platforms.Experience with MyCase and WealthCounsel is a plus.Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize numerous tasks efficiently and accurately.Ability to think critically, problem‑solve proactively, and take initiative without constant supervision.Self‑motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff, clients, and outside parties.Ability to maintain confidentiality while providing courteous and tactful client service.Strong grammar, proofreading, and written communication skills.Must be dependable, punctual, adaptable, detail‑oriented, and thrive in a fast‑paced office environment.Notary Public commission is a significant plus.Compensation $70,000 - $80,000 yearly#J-18808-Ljbffr
