The Experience We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• New York foreclosure procedures and processes
• Mortgage servicing or default servicing
• Contested foreclosure matters
• Foreclosure litigation support
• Loss mitigation
• Client and servicer communication
• Client systems such as BKFS, Vendorscape, Tempo, or similar platforms
• Managing high volume foreclosure or default servicing files
• Working with courts, attorneys, clients, vendors, and opposing counsel
• Candidates must have New York foreclosure experience or relevant mortgage servicer experience.

What You'll Do

Depending upon your experience and background, you may:

• Manage foreclosure files through various stages of the New York foreclosure process
• Assist with contested and litigated foreclosure matters
• Work with attorneys on pleadings, motions, discovery, and case preparation
• Review and manage loss mitigation activity and related documentation
• Communicate with mortgage servicer clients and other parties regarding file status and next steps
• Work within client systems and firm technology platforms
• Monitor deadlines, court requirements, and client expectations
• Help identify and resolve issues that could impact the progression of a file
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, operations teams, and other professionals across the firm

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $22 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience and role.
