  What You’ll Do<\/span>
  <\/p>

  As a Paramedic, you will play an essential role in providing fast, high -quality emergency medical care through 911 response, inter -facility transport, public assistance services, and Emergency Department support across both pre hospital and hospital settings.<\/span>
  <\/p>

  Key Responsibilities<\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Respond promptly to emergency and non -emergency calls with professionalism, urgency, and compassion, delivering effective care to patients who are ill or injured<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assess, treat, stabilize, and transport patients experiencing medical, trauma, or environmental emergencies<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Deliver immediate, life -saving treatment and patient care both on scene and during transport to the hospital.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Safely operate emergency vehicles in high -pressure situations across diverse road, weather, and traffic conditions.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support patient care within the Emergency Department and hospital facilities by providing clinical assistance, technical assessments, and treatment interventions as needed<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, law enforcement, fire departments, Quick Response Units and other emergency responders to ensure coordinated, high -quality patient care.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Monitor patient conditions continuously and make critical treatment decisions in real time<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Utilize advanced emergency medical equipment including defibrillators, ECG machines, ventilators, patient monitors, IV infusion pumps etc. to treat, resuscitate and stabilize patients<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform advanced invasive procedures within scope of practice when necessary, including Intubation, IV insertion, Medication administration, Cardioversion, Cricothyrotomy, Thoracotomy etc.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Calculate and administer medication dosages and infusion rates based on rapidly changing patient conditions<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collect and interpret diagnostic data to support critical clinical decision -making and deliver effective patient -centered care that promotes recovery and overall health<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary pre hospital teams to support coordinated, high -quality patient care and effective care management<\/span>

    What We’re Looking For<\/span>

    Experience & Education<\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Minimum 2 years of EMS experience preferred<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Successful completion of a Paramedic course or equivalent required<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Associate of Applied Science degree or equivalent preferred<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Licensures & Certifications<\/span>
      <\/p>

      • Montana Paramedic license / Registered Nurse with Certificate of Equivalency or Physician Assistant license required<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Maintain active license by completing annual refresher training and ongoing continuing education requirements<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • National Registry (NREMT) & PHTLS certifications preferred<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • NRP and EVOC required within one year or at the earliest available offering<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Critical Care Transport endorsement required within 18 months<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Valid Montana driver's license with an excellent driving record required<\/span>
