Required Skills
- Valid Paramedic license issued by the State of Arizona
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS or ITLS (plus), and NRP
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency ambulance experience, with a strong emphasis on emergency transport
- Proven ability to operate and respond effectively in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with interfacility transport (IFT) operations
- Additional certifications or specialized training in emergency medicine
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of accredited Paramedic training program
- At least 2 years of professional ambulance service experience, particularly in emergency settings
Other Requirements
- Must maintain current and valid certifications throughout employment
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts on a flexible schedule
- Compliance with all state, federal, and local laws and regulations
- Willingness to travel if required
