Overview
We are seeking a Paramedic, sometimes referred to as our Emergency Care Technician (ECT), Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) or Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech). A Paramedic who will assist with tasks like starting IVs, performing EKGs, monitoring vital signs, and supporting airway management. The Paramedic play a key role in trauma care, CPR, and patient transport, working closely with nurses and physicians during emergencies. The Paramedic will use many of their field skills, who will always perform under hospital protocols and supervision.

Hours: 12-hour shifts - 7:00am to 7:00pm

current and valid paramedic license issued by the state of Texas High School Diploma or equivalent, or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014 current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) within 6 months of hire and maintain current
Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):
ACLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current PALS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
