    Role Description The Paraplanner role at Momentum Value Partners is a full-time, on-site position based in San Ramon, CA. The individual in this role supports financial advisors by preparing detailed financial plans, cash flow analyses, and retirement projections, as well as assisting with investment research and portfolio review materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and organizing client data, maintaining accurate records in planning and CRM software, and drafting plan summaries and recommendation documents for advisor review. The Paraplanner also helps prepare client meeting materials, follows up on action items, and coordinates with operations staff to ensure timely implementation of account changes. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear written communication, and a commitment to high-quality client service.\n

    • Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply planning concepts to client situations.

    • Excellent Analytical Skills and understanding of Investments for evaluating portfolios, risk profiles, and recommended strategies.

    • Proficiency in Report Writing, including the ability to create clear, concise, and well-structured planning and recommendation documents.
    • \n
    • Familiarity with financial planning and portfolio management software; strong skills in Excel and other productivity tools.
    • \n
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; progress toward CFP® or similar credential is preferred.
    • \n
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
    • \n
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a client-centered approach and professional demeanor.
