Paraprofessional

Start Date: July 24, 2026

The paraprofessional will provide support to teachers and students in educational settings. The ideal candidate will assist with instruction, provide individualized support, and help maintain a positive and effective learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Sixty (60) college credit hours, Associates degree preferred;
2. Experience working with sensitive information regarding students;
3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
4. Must complete a required criminal background check.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Ability to relate and motivate all students with respect to learning styles and involving positive interactions for the ongoing intellectual development of young minds;
2. Ability to successfully integrate technology into the classroom while engaging students;
3. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, parents and the community.
