Paraprofessional (DLC)

SLRMS is seeking a full time paraprofessional to support students in the Developmental Learning Center (DLC).

The DLC is a substantially separate program that serves students with intellectual disabilities.

Primary roles and responsibilities will include:

• Providing academic support to students in the DLC class
• Modifying work for students in general education classes
• Monitoring students progress
• Communicating with classroom teachers
• Assisting with transitions and toileting

Other duties may be assigned by the Special Education Coordinator and/or building Principal.

Hourly rate is between 18.28 - 22.38 depending on experience.

As a full time employee, this is a benefits eligible position through Silver Lake including paid sick and personal days.
